Solutions not Problems
While I am talking to myself. Let me continue for a moment.
1. Everyone can see the problems. Whether it be the church, government or local basketball team, the problems are usually evident.
2. The real need is for more people to be invested in finding solutions and not merely complaining in order to somehow make themselves feel "smarter" or "better".
3. In order to find solutions, you must understand the entire "disease" and not simply the most prevelant "symptoms." Listening is the key to diagnosis.
4. In order to implement solutions, you must have the 1. courage to fail, 2. energy to continuously communicate, 3. passion to make a difference, and 4. determination to persevere.

It is with sadness that I must agree. Too many of us are very much aware of the problems; not many of us, myself included, are willing to stand up and make a difference.
Failure is a difficult thing to take on willingly.
