THE MAZE MELTDOWN / Crash may virtually change commuting / Traffic hassles could put people on road to high-tech meetings

THE MAZE MELTDOWN / Crash may virtually change commuting / Traffic hassles could put people on road to high-tech meetings Technology is radically changing how we work, relate, and relax. Instead of slowing down, it is picking up steam. It will only take a few more events like the one above to create even more of an impetus for people to move quickly to new platforms. These are all things that the church as a whole must grapple with and begin to address either by using the technology or, in a Amish-like move, decide to move completely away from it and thereby differentiate itself from the rest of the world. This story admits that people do need to community. They need that face-to-face time in order to be productive and feel a part of something. That is the good news. The difficult news is that how we connect may look radically different than it does today.
